In Case You Missed It… is a feature of the Center for Faculty Innovation blog providing resources from our programs for faculty who were not able to attend. Although no substitute for being able to attend, we hope that this follow up is useful to you.
On 3/28, Douglas Harrison provided an overview of common measures of faculty effectiveness and offered practical advice about the kinds of documentation to generate and/or collect. Twelve faculty members from five colleges attended the workshop and applied principles for organizing and using evidence to make the case for effective faculty performance. Please direct any questions about this program to email@example.com.
Faculty performance review is often liable to stress faculty out, so it was particularly rewarding to see a diverse group of colleagues come together and productively explore various challenges, opportunities, and ideas each of us brings to the evaluation and review process.
