Equipment Reservations

Check-Out Procedures

To check out equipment to faculty or staff members, please complete the following steps:

  • Go to the CIT Backroom.
  • Select Walk-Ins from the menu on the left-hand side of the screen.
  • Select Search for a user in the CIT Visitor Kiosk.
  • Search for the user. If the user does not exist in the system add them using Add New User.
  • Once the user is selected, click on Reserve Item.
  • Fill out the required fields and select Finish to complete the check out.

Mark Reserved Equipment as Picked Up

To mark off a reserved item as picked up, complete the following steps:

  • Go to the CIT Backroom.
  • Select Walk-Ins from the menu on the left-hand side of the screen.
  • Select Reserved and Checked out Items.
  • Select Mark as Picked Up.
  • Select the staff member who distributed the item and select Finish.

 

Renew an Equipment Reservation

  • Go to the CIT Backroom.
  • Select Walk-Ins from the menu on the left-hand side of the screen.
  • Select Reserved and Checked out Items.
  • Select Renew.
  • Enter the new return date, the staff member completing the renewal, and click Finish.

 

Check-In Procedures

To check-in a piece of equipment, complete the following steps:

  • Go to the CIT Backroom.
  • Select Walk-Ins from the menu on the left-hand side of the screen.
  • Select Reserved and Checked out Items.
  • Select Mark as Returned and click OK to return the item.
