Interested in Joining the Lab and Gaining Research Experience?

The Cognitive Development Lab conducts studies on cognitive processes in infants and children.

As a research assistant, you will participate in all aspects of research including but not limited to:

  • Developing ideas for new studies
  • Conducting literature searches
  • Writing IRB proposals
  • Recruiting and testing participants
  • Coding,¬†preparing, and analyzing data
  • Presenting results

Students who are accepted into the lab will sign up for 3 hours of credit and are expected to work 6-9 hours a week in the lab and to attend weekly lab meetings.

Students must make a 2 semester commitment to the lab, with the option to remain in the lab longer. Please fill out the application below and submit it by following the instructions on the application.
