Lab Director: Dr. Krisztina V. Jakobsen
Dr. Jakobsen graduated from Virginia Tech in 2004 with a B.S. in Psychology. She earned her Ph.D. in Life-Span Human Development from the University of Georgia in 2009. Dr. Jakobsen is interested in cognitive development, particularly in the areas of visual attention and face perception. Aside from her research on cognitive development, she also conducts studies on effective teaching practices.

Lily Takahashi ’16 is a Psychology major with a minor in Criminal Justice. Upon graduating JMU, she plans to attend graduate school for Forensic Psychology
Bri Rodgers ’16 is a Psychology major with a minor in Family Studies. She plans to go on to graduate school and earn her master’s in Education. She hopes to work for an organization like Project Head Start.
